Liberty football player taken to hospital after collapsing on field

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Liberty Tech football team and coaches had a scare Wednesday morning when a player collapsed on the practice field. The player did not eat breakfast and was feeling lightheaded before he collapsed around 9 a.m., according to the Liberty Technology Magnet High School football coach. The student was transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
