Missing man found safe in Fayette County
FAYETTE COUNTY, Tenn. — A developing story out of Fayette County has family members breathing a sigh of relief as officials say a missing dementia patient has been found. According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, Herman Cox was located conscious and alert in the woods around 10 p.m. Tuesday. Search teams brought him out of the woods where an ambulance checked him out. Cox had last been seen walking away from his home on Old Jackson Road early Tuesday afternoon.
