PARIS, Tenn. — A former Paris police officer appeared Friday in court for his first hearing in the alleged murder of his infant son. Christopher Warren Page, 28, of Puryear, represented by local attorney Mark Donahoe, had his preliminary hearing at the Henry County Courthouse regarding the death of his 3-month-old son, Gunner Page. During the hearing it was decided that Pages’ bond would remain at $500,000. The hearing featured testimony from Tennessee Bureau of Investigation witnesses and even Pages’ brother in his defense. Gunner Page’s death was questioned after medical officials revealed it appeared his death was a result of an apparent shaking. The investigation was handled by the TBI. Neither Page’s attorney nor the family were ready to comment on Friday’s hearing. Page’s next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 9.
