HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A homeowner left town for the weekend while his daughter kept an eye on the residence, and during a routine check, she found the home had been broken into. Once inside the home, she found some of her family’s most prized possessions missing. Multiple guns ranging from pistols to semiautomatic weapons had been stolen from the residence. According to Investigator Bryan Hall with the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, this trend has been seen in Henry County before. “In most of our break-ins, guns, jewelry and money are probably your top things,” Hall said. “They move quicker, and they’re easier to get rid of.” Police are still looking for the weapons. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Department at 731-642-1672.
