Police investigate armed robbery of Brownsville store

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — A gas station directly next to the Haywood County Justice Complex was robbed overnight Friday. Brownsville police say just after midnight a man with a gun walked into the gas station demanding money. Investigators say the gunman ran away after the gas station employee complied. No one was hurt during the robbery, and it is still under investigation.
