Authorities search for suspects in Dyersburg double shooting

DYERSBURG, Tenn.–The Dyersburg Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the 400 block of Connell Avenue early Monday night. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered two people suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims have been identified by authorities as Demarko Robertson and Terry Adams both from Dyersburg. Robertson and Demarko were transported to the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center for treatment, according to officials. Robertson was treated for a gunshot wound to the torso area and was released. Adams was treated for a gun shot wound to the leg, but had to be airlifted to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis and is in critical condition. The motive for the shooting is unclear and is actively being investigated by the Dyersburg Police Department.
