Letters to Lowes Grant/Toolbox4Education Grant
My English classes wrote letters to Lowes to enter in a grant opportunity for 25,000 in grant money for improvements at our school. We were contacted on Friday and told we were in the top 10. 4 school of the 10 who received the most votes (by the community) would win 25,000 dollars each! We are trying to spread the word and get the votes needed to win the grant. Our school is in dire need of improvements. The public can vote for us by going to: www.letterstolowes.com, click on Lake County High School, and vote. Voting begins on Monday, October 26th and ends at 12 noon on Friday, October 30th. Votes may only be submitted once per day from the same IP Address. It would mean everything to our kids and our school to win. Thank you.
