Humboldt woman injured in recent crash has died

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A woman who was critically injured earlier this month in a crash along Highway 187 in Humboldt has died, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Officers say 47-year-old Rhonda Austin of Humboldt died Wednesday afternoon. She was headed east on 187 on Oct. 17 when she ran off the road, flipped and hit a tree, according to the THP. She had been hospitalized in Memphis.
