Police: Recovered tombstone was discarded due to error on monument
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A child’s tombstone recovered Sunday near Alamo turns out to have been replaced due to a mistake on the monument, according to police. Humboldt police say the tombstone had been replaced because of an incorrect date. The marker was found Sunday in a ditch on the side of Phillips Road near Alamo.
