U.S. Marshals join search for escaped Gibson Co. inmates

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The U.S. Marshals Service is now helping with the ongoing search for two men who escaped Wednesday from the county jail, according to the sheriff’s office. Jason clapper and Joseph Isbell reportedly escaped from the Gibson County Correctional Complex in Trenton Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. while they were in a fenced-in recreation area. Both Isbell and Clapper were serving time for violation of probation charges. Anyone who sees the men is urged not to approach them but to immediately call the sheriff’s office at 731-855-1121.
