UT Martin makes ‘Top 50 Most Affordable Online Degree Programs’ list
MARTIN, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee at Martin is among the most affordable when it comes to online degree programs, according to a recent ranking. Affordable Colleges Online ranked UT Martin in the annual “Top 50 Most Affordable Online Degree Programs,” according to a release from the school. UTM ranks 24th and is one of only four Tennessee institutions to be included in the list. “We wanted to highlight schools that are driving innovative learning while working around the financial constraints of students,” Dan Schuessler, CEO of Affordable Colleges Online, states in the release. In order to be considered for the ranking, schools must be public or private not-for-profit institutions offering at least one fully-online degree program, be accredited to grant four-year degrees and have a total program price below $15,000, according to the release. UT Martin online students can pursue a master of business administration or a master of science in agriculture and natural resources, according to the release. Online options also provide support for careers in paralegal, agriculture or business positions. Other Tennessee schools on the list are Lee University, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and East Tennessee State University.
