Sacred Heart of Jesus team heads to football championship

JACKSON, Tenn. — Excitement was in the air Friday as a local football team made team history. Students at Sacred Heart of Jesus High School rallied Friday as their eight-man football team headed to Panama City, Fla., for a national tournament. Principal Ann Keyl spoke with us about the team’s accomplishments. “To get to this point is such an accomplishment, but I want them to come back with their heads held high and to feel like the young men that they have become out there on the field,” Keyl said. This is the first year the organization has been to the national championship.
