Search continues for escaped Gibson Co. inmates

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The search continues for two escaped inmates from the Gibson County jail. The sheriff says Jason Clapper and Joseph Isbell escaped Wednesday afternoon while in an outdoor recreation area. They reportedly scaled a chain-link fence topped with razor wire to get out. Officials say both were serving time for probation violation charges. Clapper is a convicted sex offender out of Illinois. Isbell is charged with felony theft.
