Milan church hosted 3rd “Feed the Community” event

MILAN, Tenn. — First Assembly of God in Milan prepared around 300 baskets packed with a full Thanksgiving meal for needy families in the area for their event, called “Feed the Community.” They also cooked around 150 meals they delivered to the elderly and shut-ins Saturday. “They’re facing struggles that we on the outside know nothing about and a lot of these baskets are to enforce the fact that they are not walking this journey alone,” Coordinator Christie Rushing said. The church also hosted a shoe and coat drive for the first time this year, and gave away around 40 pairs of shoes and 100 coats for children in need.
