Madison Co. commissioners replace member who resigned
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Commissioners met Monday and chose a replacement for Ann Harrell, who has resigned. During a their monthly meeting, commissioners chose Mike Taylor to fill the position. Taylor was recommended for the position by the Republican caucus. In other business, the commission is not considering a resolution to change the county textbooks because of the way they approach Islam. However, the commission tabled the resolution.
