Liberty isn’t overlooking Milan
Liberty’s defense is peaking at the right time. The Crusaders have finished with four shutouts in their last five games, and no team in the playoffs has reached the end zone against them. “Our pursuit has gotten a lot better and our pad level is a lot better than it was at the beginning of the season,” head coach Tyler Turner said. “They continue to improve every week and challenge themselves not to be scored on.” Milan is very familiar with Liberty’s stingy defense. The Bulldogs lost 30-8 to the region 7-3A champions in Week 3. “They’re good and they’ve improved,” Turner said about the Bulldogs. “They’re going to be a tough team to beat twice.
