Fire damages home, Red Cross helps family
JACKSON, Tenn. –A late night fire damages a south Jackson home. The Jackson Fire Department says it happened around midnight at 124 Chester Levee Road.
Firefighters say it was a cooking fire and not deemed suspicious.
They say the kitchen sustained smoke, fire, and water damage.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters say the Red Cross stepped in to help the family.
