Man charged in Big Sandy shooting death
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies have filed charges against the suspect in a deadly Monday shooting in Big Sandy. The sheriff told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News that George Burns III was arrested around 6 p.m. Thursday on a count of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Michael Nuzzo.
Investigators said the two were arguing and physically fighting in a parking lot of a gas station when Burns pulled a gun and shot Nuzzo in the chest. Burns’ bond is set at $500,000.
