GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 5-year-old child at an apartment complex in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Media outlets report officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Summerfield Apartments around 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Details about the shooting have not been released, but authorities say the death may have been an accident.
They say the parents and another child were at home at the time of the shooting.
