FedEx employee dies following accident in hub
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a FedEx employee following an accident at the company’s Memphis, Tennessee, hub.
Local media outlets report police got a call about the incident around 6 a.m. on Sunday.
Details about the accident have not been released. The employee has not been named but is believed to be a male.
FedEx said in a statement that “our prayers and deepest sympathy are extended to his family.”
The company said it’s working with authorities in the investigation.
