Haywood fires Ernie Jackson

HAYWOOD, Tenn. – Haywood high school fired head football coach Ernie Jackson on Tuesday, according to school officials and coach Jackson himself. Back in September, the two-year head coach served a three-day suspension due to unprofessional conduct and neglect of duties during school hours. The Tomcats finished 4-6 last season. Jackson will still work in the Haywood County Schools.
