Last minute shoppers flock area stores for Thanksgiving
JACKSON, Tenn.-As the hours tick toward Thanksgiving, West Tennesseans found themselves in the busiest place possible Wednesday night…the grocery store. There were full parking lots at stores throughout the Hub City with shoppers trying to get those final ingredients for their thanksgiving feast. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News spoke with shoppers who said finding everything you need may be more difficult than you think with just hours left. “Some were bare. I found more here than I did at other places, but maybe a couple trips you’ll get what you need,” said last minute shopper, Abby Cummings. Other shoppers said the essentials like eggs and turkeys were easy to find.
