SAVANNAH, Tenn. — An animal rescue in Savannah finds itself in need of rescue this week as 82 dogs are taken from the property to an emergency shelter in Middle Tennessee. Animal Rescue Corps, which helped Hardin County Animal Services remove dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, sent photos to WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News. Neighbors alerted authorities, and when they contacted the owners they admitted they no longer were able to properly take care of the animals. The dogs will be housed in Lebanon until other shelters are found to take them in.
