MTSU ‘True Blue Tour’ concludes in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — North Jackson was full of Blue Raiders and those who would like to be one someday. Middle Tennessee State University’s “True Blue Tour” made a stop Tuesday night in Jackson where hundreds of potential students and their parents gathered to learn more about the Murfreesboro school. Prospective students were able to fill out applications and financial aid forms, as well as learn about campus life. “I hope parents realize that MTSU is serious about taking care of their students when they come to the university and that we will give them the best,” said Dr. Sidney McPhee, president of Middle Tennessee State University. More than $5,500 in scholarships and three iPads were given away at the event.
