Officers investigating shooting in north Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.-Jackson police are investigating a reported drive-by shooting that sent one man to the hospital. Officers were called to the 200 block of Tinker Hill Cove just after 8 p.m., Monday, after receiving reports that someone had been shot. Investigators told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News, as of late Monday, a 27-year-old man remained in the emergency room at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Officers said he was shot while inside a home on Tinker Hill Cove.. Investigators said multiple shots were fired into the home. Officers said the victim was then taken by a private car to the ER, but his condition was not released.
