Owners of chicken farm enter best interest plea

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn.-The owners of the Tyson chicken farm in Weakley County charged with animal cruelty entered a best interest plea, but will not have to serve jail time. According to court officials, the agreement also allows Thomas and Suzanne Blassingame to have their records expunged in 12 months if they stay out of trouble. They must also pay a $25 fine and serve one year of unsupervised probation.
