Police: Pregnant woman stabbed by boyfriend

BRADFORD, Tenn. — A man is jailed after police in Bradford said he stabbed his pregnant girlfriend, Tuesday. According to Police Chief David Andrews, officers responded to a home in the 100-block of Cantrell Street after a woman called 911 saying she had been stabbed.. Officers said when they arrived, they found a woman who was three-months pregnant, stabbed multiple times in a pool of blood. Her boyfriend, Torey Estes, 35, was quickly taken into custody. He is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder and is currently being held at the Gibson County Correctional Complex in lieu of $500,000 bond. As of Tuesday afternoon, the victim was listed in stable condition at a Jackson hospital.
