Sheriff’s dept. IDs suspects in Alamo bank robbery
ALAMO, Tenn. — The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department has identified the two suspects quickly taken into custody Friday after a bank robbery. Jack Ray Austin, 42, and Lamarcus Austin, 21, both of Memphis, are each charged with aggravated robbery. Officers say they are responsible for robbing the BancorpSouth branch in Alamo at gunpoint. Officers have not said if the money taken from the bank has been recovered of if anyone else was involved. The Alamo Police Department, Crockett County Sheriff’s Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation are handling the case.
