Two arrested, marijuana seized during Gibson Co. traffic stop

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn.-Officers in the City of Gibson seize a car and a felony amount of marijuana, all after stopping just one car. Officers said they pulled over Nicole Horner and Brittney Vickery Monday night for a registration violation. 35 single bags of marijuana and scales were found in the car and officers say one of the suspects was even smoking a marijuana cigarette when they were pulled over. Investigators said this is just one of many drug finds over the past few weeks. “We seem to have quite a bit coming through here… and that’s one of the reasons we are rigorous on the traffic violations because we don’t know what we’re going to come up with day by day,” said Chief Taylor Atkins with the Gibson Police Department. Both Horner and Vickery are charged with felony drug possession with the intent to sell.
