It seems like every season University School of Jackson’s soccer team is in the state tournament. The Lady Bruins have earned a trip to Murfreesboro 10 straight years. “It’s an exciting time. You want to be playing at this time of the year,” head coach Paul Conway said. “This program we’ve had great success.” The school said farewell to the soccer team on Thursday afternoon. Before the bus departed, the team broke out into their alma mater song. “At this stage of the year if we’re working hard and doing what we’ve been doing all season, we’ve have a real chance,” Conway said. “The big thing is going into there and concentrating on ourselves.” USJ opens up tournament action on Friday against ECS at 4 p.m.
