Homeowners spread Christmas spirit with lights
DENMARK, Tenn. — Jimmy Godwin and his neighbor Willy Taylor put on a great display of Christmas lights every year in an effort to make the community feel a little warmer.
Godwin says with everything going on in today’s world, he and his neighbor hope to ease everyone’s mind by showing the joy of Christmas.
“They have crime and violence and everything going on everywhere else, but this is something we do to get everyone into the Christmas spirit,” Godwin said.
