Calhoun County authorities probe deadly home invasion
PITTSBORO, Miss. (AP) – A Calhoun County man is dead following a home invasion in Pittsboro.
WLBT-TV reports two men were at home Tuesday morning when two heavily-armed men entered the home.
Gunshots were exchanged and one man died at the scene. He has been identified as 27-year-old Kenneth Patterson.
Brandon Easle, the other occupant, was not injured during the incident.
Sheriff Greg Pollan says no arrests have been made, but the identity of the suspects will be released at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
