Madison Co. deputies seek person of interest in Tuesday stabbing
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies are looking for a person of interest in a Tuesday stabbing that left a teenager in ICU.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is seeking David Nelson as the person of interest. Officers have not yet made any arrests.
Around 6 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a call to the 1300 block of Westover Road, according to a statement from Tom Mapes, public information officer with the sheriff’s office.
An argument between two neighbors escalated to the point of four people, including a 16-year-old, being involved and a knife being brandished, according to Mapes.
Two of the four were stabbed and transported to the hospital, and the 16-year-old currently is in surgical ICU, the release states.
