Teen pleads not guilty to alleged Haywood High School rape
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — A Haywood High School student accused of raping another student faced a judge Monday.
Terman Jeter, 18, pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated rape and two counts of aggravated kidnapping. He is accused of raping a 16-year-old female student on campus back on Nov. 20, according to an affidavit.
Jeter’s attorney, David W. Camp, filed a motion to dismiss the charges because he said he was denied access to his client on Sunday. The judge denied the motion.
Jeter is due back in court April 11.
