Last minute shoppers search for gifts
NORTH JACKSON, Tenn. — With only a few days left until Christmas, many shoppers have hit stores in hopes of finding gifts at the very last minute. “The last minute part of shopping is great because you really get into the holiday spirit,” says shopper Dinah Wilson.
Last minute shopping has become a family tradition for Dinah Wilson and her two kids. Rather than buying everything in advance, she waits to buy Christmas gifts for her family and friends.
Stores like Target were packed with people just like Wilson who were trying to find the best deals on gifts with Christmas only a few days away.
Most customers were on the search for food, electronics, and even toys. “My daughter wants an iPod, because she’s really into music like Taylor Swift. My little boy is really into Legos.”
Most stores will have extended hours to accommodate late shoppers.
