Some local post offices closing early for holiday
JACKSON, Tenn. — If you have some last-minute shipping to do, make sure to double check the hours at your post office.
Post offices nationwide will be open Christmas Eve, but many will shorten their hours.
In Madison County, the Tucker Street and Bemis locations will close early at noon on Christmas Eve.
All the other locations will be open until 5 p.m.
Only priority mail express items will be delivered on Christmas Day.
Regular hours resume on Dec. 26.
