Police charge man with arson in Milan house fire
MILAN, Tenn. — A man is facing arson charges after police say he set fire to a house in Milan.
Thomas Knott is accused of forcing entry into a home Dec. 18 in the 3000 block of Cantrell Street, pouring an accelerant several places and then setting the home on fire, according to a report from the Milan Police Department.
Police say a bomb and arson K-9 was taken to the site the following day and alerted on several places where an accelerant was used.
Investigators also sent samples to the TBI crime lab for testing.
