Stolen West TN school bus found in MS
HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn.-A stolen Henderson County school bus is discovered across state lines…. in Walnut, Miss.
Lexington police said the bus was taken from Lexington High School at some point.
Investigators said it is not uncommon for the buses to be parked at the school. Police told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness New it is unclear at this time exactly how long the bus has been missing.
“With it being the holiday and school buses not being looked at yet, hopefully we won’t have anymore but there’s always that possibility,” said Capt. Jeff Middleton of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Dept.
The bus was towed back to Lexington, with extensive damage. Investigators said they are following leads and have persons of interest they plan to question in the case.
