2 appear on charges of robbery, ransacking Jackson home

JACKSON, Tenn. — Two men appeared Monday in court on charges involving a recent aggravated robbery and burglary in north Jackson.

Jamie Johnson and Dennis Jones were in Jackson City Court, each charged with pulling a pistol on a resident and his girlfriend Dec. 28 on Brooksie Drive and forcing their way inside.

Court papers show the two along with another male ransacked the house and also forced both of the victims to lie face down on the floor.

Cash, gaming systems, a laptop and cell phones were stolen.

Bonds for both suspects were set at $100,000 each.
