Lawyers in TCA sexting case meet
JACKSON, Tenn. — Lawyers met for the second time to hear a motion for more information in the sexting scandal lawsuit against Trinity Christian Academy.
One family alleges their son was forced to leave school for exchanging scandalous pictures with classmates. The family’s lawyer, Stuart Breakstone, submitted a motion earlier last year for the school to finish answering specific questions.
“I’m trying to find out if TCA, by its own actions, has reformed this whole entire contract, and I can’t know that and can’t ascertain that without this information,” Breakstone said.
TCA attorney Chris Myatt says the requested information is irrelevant and asks for details on the private lives of children.
Chancery Court Judge James Butler is reviewing some of the requests and will make a decision as soon as possible.
