Police make quick arrest in east Jackson robbery

EAST JACKSON — Officers make a quick arrest in an apparent robbery Tuesday afternoon in east Jackson.

Police on scene tell WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they have a man in custody, suspected of robbing another person outside a home in the 200 block of Middle Avenue.

It happened just before 4 p.m. Officers were seen taking a gun from the scene. However, there are no reports of injuries.

Officers continue to investigate and have not released the suspect’s name.
