TBI investigating death of Parsons man

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — The TBI is investigating after a man was found dead Sunday in a Parsons apartment.

Charles Floyd, 56, was found after a neighbor called 911 to a residence at Kensington Place Apartments, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Decatur County EMS and the Parsons Police Department initially responded and the TBI was brought in shortly afterward.

Floyd’s body has been taken to Memphis for an autopsy.

The TBI and Parsons police are investigating.
