Troopers investigate crash involving ambulance
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — THP officials say they are investigating a Wednesday morning crash involving an ambulance.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. on Highway 45 near Hughes Loop north of Milan. No serious injuries were reported.
Officers say the ambulance struck a pole and took down power lines. Many residents in the area were temporarily without power.
It took utility workers about three hours to restore electricity.
No patients were in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
