St. Louis Cardinals manager speaks in Hub City for fundraiser

JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds from the Cardinal Nation across West Tennessee turned out Friday night as St. Louis Cardinals Manager Mike Matheny visits the Hub City.

Matheny is speaking at the Carl Perkins Civic Center to raise money for Special Needs Athletics, which helps hundreds of West Tennesseans with special needs play sports in our area.

Matheny is known for being a tireless community worker, and that’s why organizers say he was the perfect fit for Friday’s fundraiser.
