Cancer survivor surprised with 80th birthday party
Woman turns 80 years old after beating cancer 4 times
JACKSON, Tenn. — Friends and family gathered Saturday to celebrate an important milestone for a special lady, Mrs. Willie White, who turned 80-years old.
White’s husband and the staff at the Regency Retirement Village threw her a surprise birthday party.
White volunteers at Regency four times a week and has overcome cancer four times.
“We hope you enjoy your birthday and all the pleasure it has in store,” said Regency Activities Director Darlene Robertson. “We appreciate you so much and hope you have many many more years to come.”
Mrs. White was under the impression she was attending a volunteer luncheon.
