Starkville industrial park plans to be unveiled

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) – Developers are expected to unveil plans for a new industrial park next week.

The Starkville Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/1MZlO3A ) that the Golden Triangle Development LINK is due to unveil plans at a public meeting next Thursday at the East Mississippi Community College.

The location of the proposed industrial park has not yet been publicly disclosed.

In a news release, the developers say they will present an overview of the plans and cost estimates.

Plans for a $10 million industrial park in one location in Starkville were cancelled last year and since then the same developers have been in search of a new site.

Funds for the industrial park would be provided through bonds from Oktibbeha County and the city of Starkville.
