Blood supply reaches second week of critical need

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local blood bank is continuing to issue a critical appeal for blood due to a shortage. Lifeline Blood Services has re-evaluated its need for blood products in the coming weeks, and said they’re continuing the appeal for blood through Friday, January 15th.

All blood types are needed, and donors are urged to give blood as soon as possible.

Lifeline Blood Services is located at 183 Sterling Farms Drive, and is open this week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
