Weather Update: 7:00 PM Sunday
Tonight could be the coldest night of the season. Last time we were in the teens for low temps was on Jan. 5, 2016 and our low was 18 degrees. The winds continue to lighten up and the clouds are most gone, these together will really allow temperatures to cool. Single digits are possible in the northern parts of West Tennessee and mainly temps in the teens for everyone else.
Starting our Monday, it will be chilly and you will want to bundle! As you head out the door temps will still be in the upper teens and low 20s. Our afternoon temps will try to rebound and reach into the upper 30s to the low 40s. These afternoon highs are still below average for this time of year.
High temps on Tuesday also try to continue to warm but a reinforcing cold front arrives and will drop temps down again going into mid-week.
The high pressure prevails this week keeping mostly sunny skies until the end of the week. By Friday another frontal system brings the chance for rain into the weekend.
