Search continues overnight for missing two-year-old

PINSON, Tenn. — Officials sent volunteer searchers home around 11:00 p.m Friday night. They said they would continue to search for Noah overnight with just first responders and law enforcement.

Hundreds lined up for hours to search for 2-year-old Noah Chamberlain Friday. He’s been missing for more than 24 hours.”We just want to find him and bring him home,” said an eager volunteer.

The 2-year old went missing Thursday afternoon. He was last seen walking into the woods behind his grandmother’s home. However, no trace has been found since.

Volunteers and first responders have been tackling through terrain. Some have even sustained minor injuries during the search. “I had a lump in my throat when I walked up earlier today because I thought that’s incredible that so many people are giving of their time to some out and search for this little boy,” said another search volunteer.

Although volunteer after volunteer is coming back empty handed, the ones taking their place say they’re relying on faith.

“They put their own comfort aside because they believe in their hearts that their going to find this little boy,” Pinson Baptist Church Pastor John Gatters said. “That’s faith and that’s remarkable.”

Those who may have information on Chamberlain’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Chester County Sheriff’s Department.
