Church members pray for police
Love and Truth congregation prays for law enforcement
JACKSON, Tenn. — Across seven campuses, Love and Truth Church members started 21 days of prayer and fasting going into 2016. Week 3 of the challenge focus on community.
During Sunday’s service the congregation prayed for law enforcement and first responders in the Jackson area. With most officers searching for Noah, Pastor Chris Smith said this is the time a community should be praying for police the most.
“And also in light of, the situation thats going on in Pinson, with little noah. This is just perfect timing for us to come together as a community and lift these people up,” said Love and Truth South Jackson Pastor Chris Smith. “Lift up out first-responders and cover them in prayer.”
Madison County sheriff deputies attended the service Sunday morning and Councilman Dodd was there to represent the City of Jackson.
